One of my blog subscribers in Poland wrote me to request a video tutorial on this portrait of Nicole. He wasn't the only one to request more detailed tutorials so I finally broke down and recorded this one. I hope you enjoy!
** edit 12/3/07 - I made the video larger based on your feedback.

Thanks a lot Jake! I am very happy! and you did a great first vid tutorial! repsect! GREAT JOB!
I tried some stuff on my own, but your great hints will also help to improve the usage of the PS tools.
Once more thanks! (oh matko i got mentioned in your blog) :D hehe
Thanks, Jake!
I was about to comment on the previous entry to ask if you could provide some info on your dodge'n'burn technique, but now I found the video tutorial explaining exactly that - fantastic!
Thank you for sharing this, and, of course, not to forget you got some brilliant starting material also to work with.
Thanks for this video :)
but ... a higher resolution is available ? :)
thank you for posting this great vid tutorial! i keep watching your blog and stuff form germany :)
but i must ask for a higher resolution, too
Awesome ! Thx a lot !
Thanks for the informative tutorial. Well done production. If you have a chance I'd love to see another one on, it doesn't matter what photo.
Thank you so much
Found this in your deviant journal. Great tutorial ! Thanks for sharing !
thanks for your tutorial, very useful!
this is great!..thanks so much for posting this! but is there any way i can see the video bigger??
Well with in the first few seconds of watching that video I learned a great tip. I always seem to forget about the catch light.
This tutorial rocks. Thanks so much for making it.
These are all great tips. I often find myself using dodge/burn tools to correct things, but I've got to start using them more to enhance things.
Thanks for taking the time to put this out there!
Thank you for a GREAT tutorial! I didn’t really know how the dodge and burn tool worked, but this one video has really helped.

Thanks aloot
it was amazing lesson
cool tutorial, but for me the problem is the small size of the video screen, I mean I cannot see well what you are doing and since I dont know all the PS tools in Eglish ...(Im Spanish and the PS tools are not straight translated in Spanish into PS Spanish versions)
Could we get it in larger size?
i'm hardly looking for this kind of great tutorial, thanks alot Jake !
